Insurance applications may require sensitive personal information, including identity, financial, and health-related information. Vertex Aegys is designed to collect and transmit only the information needed to support the insurance workflow selected by the client and licensed agent.
Sensitive information should be entered through the designated private workflow rather than ordinary text messaging. Social Security and banking numbers are encrypted, shown masked to the agent and deleted automatically no later than 72 hours after the application is submitted (or 24 hours after those fields were last entered if it is not submitted). Identification numbers and uploaded identity documents remain encrypted and access-controlled in the secure case workspace for carrier-submission workflows. Health and background answers are encrypted and are not included in emails or PDFs. Access should be limited to authorized persons involved in servicing the case, subject to applicable carrier, agency, contractual, and legal requirements.
Clients may contact their licensed agent with questions about information requested for an application, corrections, or the handling of their case information.
